About One Pearl Jewelry
Hi, I'm Theresa Wing Hines, founder of One Pearl. I started One Pearl in 2004 to give life to my jewelry designs and generate money for charitable causes that are very close to my heart.The idea for One Pearl came to me one day during a very painful time in my personal life. I realized that the way a pearl is formed can also symbolize human transformation; a pearl begins as a small particle in a foreign environment, but emerges as a beautiful gem, coated with layers and layers of nacre. This process parallels the changes made possible by effective educational, health, and therapeutic programs.
As you browse our site you will notice that each piece of One Pearl jewelry features a contrasting pearl to represent the human transformations made possible by One Pearl purchases. This unique look is fashionably striking and emotionally compelling. The one pearl on your piece can take on a meaning close to your heart, and represent the special "pearl" in your life.
We donate 100% of profits from One Pearl sales to a few non-profit organizations that benefit children's health and education.

Do you accept custom jewelry requests?
We are happy to do custom pieces for bridal parties and special occasions. Please anticipate at least two months for design finalization and product delivery. Note that custom orders must meet a minimum price requirement.
